Trouble in Utopia is a video installation comprising two projected video works, an audio piece and the installation of  a gravel floor throughout the gallery space. The combination of stepping on gravel and watching the found footage videos which appear around the corners of an architectural intervention in the room create a hightened sense of the veiwers presence. The video footage is sourced from newsreel archives of the 1970's and comprises images of children in the streets and the architecture in which they were housed and educated.
